Zoë's Church Funny
This morning during the "kids story" portion of the service, Zoë showed her bible knowledge. Pretty much every Sunday I remind Abby and Zoë to just sit nicely and listen, without speaking. Well, they just can't help themselves when the storyteller (usually Pastor Vivan, but today someone different) asks questions, even if they are retorical. Today a question was asked about being able to see God, and all of the kids were skaking their heads no. Zoë added, "God is in heaven". Okay, that was nice... then she continued, "We have to die to go to heaven". Oh boy, where's she going with this, I thought. Then, the man doing the story confirmed that, yes that's how it works. Zoë decided she needed to add a little more information and, complete with hand gestures, said, "But, we want to wait a little while." Everyone started laughing and Zoë even received some applause. My face was very red, I'm sure.
