Nutritionist Appointment - September
Marge came by today, to see Abby and Zoë before their surgery, and give us some suggestions on how to "beef them up" a bit, in anticipation for losing some weight after they get their tonsils out. We last saw Marge in July. Here are their stats:
They are both 29.5 pounds... so close to 30! Both of the girls are also growing taller quickly (no wonder I just had to put away just about all of their 3T pants and switch them out with the 4T's).
Abby had grown just a smidgen taller than Zoë, Abby's at 38 1/4 inches, where Zoë's at 381/8. The fact that Abby is slightly taller made her BMI and percentiles a little different as well. For height both of the girls are in the 25th percentile. Abby's BMI is 14.1, putting her just at the 10th percentile, Zoë's is 14.3, putting her in the 10th-25th bracket.
We are going to be moving from half of their chewable vitamin, to now getting a full vitamin. Marge suggested it for the couple of weeks before their surgery, and since they're close to being 4, (Mommy's not admitting that yet) we'll just keep them at a full vitamin after as well. We talked about giving different foods and things that we don't normally do, just to help with the weight issue in the upcoming weeks. Chris had already gotten a bunch of junk food on our last shopping trip, which Marge actually said was a good idea since it was a short term thing. She also gave us a sample of pediasure to try, which I think we'll get more of at the store. We will get back in touch with Marge after Abby and Zoë are tonsil and adenoid-less.
Abby @ 3 years, 8 months, 29 days
Zoë @ 3 years, 8 months, 29 days
Enzo expected in 1 year, 11 days
