Junk Food Express - Update
Well, Abby and Zoë are definitely liking their new treats we've been giving them. It's funny though, at first the girls, more so Abby than Zoë, would eat the healthy accompaniment before going on to the treat. Still, if I give, say grapes and a twinkie, they'll usually want the grapes first. Also, we've definitely noticed behavior differences since adding the junk food. They are more jumpy and fidgety and just more hyper and also have more fits and are generally a bit more grumpy. Not just after the treats either, just generally throughout the day. We will certainly not be keeping these treats around after the cupboard empties out. It will be back to good old veggies and fruits with dips and all of our other tasty, more healthy treats.
