words will not  make those anxious feelings go away. over time they will happen less and less as you have more and more opportunities to guide and teach your girls how to feel and react in those situations that are unknown and can easily lead to anxious feelings.I love you. you are a wonderful, caring daughter and mother.

So Much Reading

I went to the library today to pick up a few more books I'd found from the online catalog.  Abby spent a good part of the morning, after lessons, reading her surgery booklet.  At the library I found, "Franklin Goes to the Hospital", "Good-Bye Tonsils", and "Dr. White", which is a story about a dog who visits sick kids in the hospital.  I also got a couple of non-hospital related books.  I picked up a very early Curious George dvd, with the characters being puppets instead of cartoon, the movie has the episode where George goes to the hospital.  We read all of the books I got and then the girls looked through them on their own and at snack time after dinner they watched the Curious George video.  Both of the girls informed me that they aren't scared.  Zoë told Nonna on the phone this evening that she wasn't going to cry.  I called the hospital this evening and got our arrival time, 7:00 a.m.  We should be discharged sometime on Thursday.  We took a couple of before photos today, to remind us of how large Abby and Zoë's tonsils really were.

Abby @ 3 years, 9 months, 10 days
Zoë @ 3 years, 9 months, 10 days
Enzo expected in 11 months, 29 days
