Recovery Day Two
Today started out alright. Abby had a good amount of energy and both girls were bee boppin' around. Late morning came, however and Zoë put herself down for a nap. While Zoë was sleeping, Abby requested a scrambled egg, and even ate it. She also tired a little cream of wheat and had some stuff to drink. Zoë got up after a while and thought an egg sounded good, so she had one too. During this time, Abby then put herself down for a nap. Abby and Zoë both ate a bit and drank a bit throughout the morning and though they complained of pain, things weren't going too terribly bad.
We had to go over to Wal-Mart to get some more things and decided that Abby and Zoë could handle coming along for the ride. Dr. Rankin had said that having them come along for errands was fine. Well, just before getting to Wal-Mart, Zoë lost everything she'd eaten and drank. She was pretty run down after this and we were just concerned with getting enough liquids as well as food into both girls. We were surprised when both Abby and Zoë were ready for a nap again around normal nap time and went right to sleep and slept for a good few hours. Our other concern is that Zoë hasn't pooped since Tuesday. Abby went Thursday but it was just a small amount and it was hard and pebbly.
