Recovery Day Ten
Abby and Zoë are definitely on the mend. They didn't have much pain medicine at all today and I think we're almost getting back to a somewhat normal routine. The girls enjoyed a little art project before lunch today. We sat and cut out lots of pictures of food and then put them into groups of "junk food" and "healthy food" (or at least healthier than the junk food) and glued them to their respective sides of a large piece of construction paper.
After nap, and both girls actually napped at a (semi) normal time today, Abby and Zoë helped me make dinner after they were done snack and then after dinner was all cleaned up, Daddy and his girls took a walk down the street and back. They got lots of comments, having to due with the fantastic ensembles Abby and Zoë had put together. They had capri pants with long socks and their sparkle shoes along with their princess outfits and play jewelry on over this. When they got back to the house we picked a handful of ripe tomatoes from our plants and brought them in... before a big rain that we weren't supposed to get until Monday.
