Fancy Dinner Out
We went with Grandma Cindy to a new restaurant in town that has been getting some good reviews, Brazo. It's not a super fancy place, but fancier than say, Olive Garden. When I placed the reservation and mentioned that two in our party were children, they asked, "just out of curiosity" how old the kids were... there wasn't a high chair or booster seat to be seen. We got a very elegant looking booth and settled in with some bread to nibble while waiting for our orders. Zoë was doing very well quietly occupying herself, Abby was having a little bit more of a difficult time throughout the meal, but by no means was she a nuisance. I ordered the pescado rellaño, Chris ordered the grilled wild salmon, and Grandma Cindy ordered two appetizers as her meal; duck confit empanadas, and mariscada. We also ordered mini medianoche for the girls to nibble while we waited for our food. Chris and I agreed that we enjoyed his meal the best out of everything we'd ordered. We even ventured for dessert... a chocolate banana bread pudding. Abby and Zoë each got a bite and then Chris took them back to the house for popsicles (trying to end on a good note at the restaurant, behavior wise) while Grandma Cindy and I stayed to polish off dessert, pay for the meal, and then walked back home.
Abby @ 3 years, 9 months, 27 days
Zoë @ 3 years, 9 months, 27 days
Enzo expected in 11 months, 13 days
