Funny Ideas
The other day, as we were getting ready to leave the library with Grandma Cindy, Zoe asked us "How does a Mommy and Daddy make a baby?" Well, I thought I had a little longer before she asked me that exact question, but I've always tried to just explain things appropriately for her age, but with the correct information, so I began trying to figure out how to word the answer, but by the time I got to "God makes Mommy's and Daddy's very special so that..." she was on to something else. I guess I'll figure out how to finish the conversation for when she inevitably remembers she asked me this question.
Today while Abby was out with Chris, he asked her if she knew where money comes from. Of course she did, "From the machine" , she answered. Daddy asked what would happen if there wasn't any more in there and she said that she had some in her fishy purse. Daddy asked about when that runs out and she told him that we'd just make it at home. Then he had the discussion with her about how Daddy has to work and when he does that someone pays him and that the bank just holds our money for us like a big fishy purse, and all of those financial things.
