The Writing on the Wall
Abby came into the kitchen today and says, "Mom, I'm sorry I wrote on the wall with the crayon." I was setting up for a fuming talk of how I should be able to trust her to color in the other room by now, but then I approached the said wall, saw her perfect 'e's' and 'a's', took a deep breath and told her how great her letters came out. Then I explained that she needs to come and ask me for blank paper if she doesn't want to draw in the coloring book. This was our first wall writing experience and I was just shocked that she'd actually written on the wall. Thanks to the 'magic eraser', our wall is as good as new.
