Hand Blender Heaven
When I was at the resale shop, I saw this hand blender "baby set" for only $7.99. We had been wanting a hand blender for a while now, and though we didn't need some of the things that came in the set, we'd use the hand blender and chopper attachment and it was not even $8.00! Since then we've been blending fruit drinks left and right. Every morning I try something new. I made the girls a banana soy milk smoothie and put it in cups that we'd saved from some restaurant or another. Zoë asked, "Did you go to a restaurant in the middle of the night?" I also made an orange, pineapple, banana, and pear juice which was tasty. Chris made some cashew nut butter with the chopper attachment that Abby and Zoë enjoyed with some honey on crackers. We're really getting some nice use out of this.
