Band Aid Dissapointment
I had to go get some blood work today and the girls were all concerned about it. They stayed home with Daddy while I went, and he let them watch a movie. Before I left, both of the girls were asking me if it was going to hurt and what kind of band aid I was going to pick out. Zoë asked, near tears, why I was going to have to go get my arm hurt.
When I got home the first thing I was asked was, "Did you get a cool band-aid?" Zoë and Abby were quite dissapointed to see that all I got was some medical tape over a cotton ball. I assured them that it didn't hurt too badly and that I was fine. They also wanted to know all about the lady taking my blood.
