Rainy Church Day
When the girls and I went to church this morning, the rain was coming down. There was no kids choir practice, and going at the regular time meant not getting our usual close parking spot. (The one designated for families with young kids) So, we parked at the far side of the parking lot, which was one big puddle, and trekked carefully inside. The bottom of Abby's pants were soaked before we even got halfway, luckily they dried out after a while. Thanks to their ladybug and frog rain coats, the rest of them stayed nice and dry.
Today during Sunday school we watched a video of a production the kids will be doing. It's a musical called "A Tale of Three Trees", which they will perform June 8th. We got a booklet and cd to bring home so that Abby and Zoë can learn all of the songs. I'll be helping teach the kids the movements that go along with the songs.
