We really wanted to get to the beach today, but the girls also really needed a nap after their busy morning.  So, even though we knew high tide would be creeping up on us, we went ahead and went this afternoon.  We went to Rye beach, a little ways down from where we normally go, and sure enough there wasn't any sand to play in.  The waves were strong too, so we just sat on the small pebble rocks and let the girls throw rocks in the water for a while.  Even with it being later in the afternoon, and not staying long, Chris and the girls still managed to get a little pink on their skin.
